It installed a very big and old style vertical type electrostatic precipitator, however, the old ESP filter has a bad performance and it’s easy to catch fire, so the manufacturer considers to replace a new ESP filter to enhance the smoke removal efficiency in order to reach the local emission standard.
The flooring foaming production line is combined by 4 chambers of ovens, 6 meters for each and total 24 meters. According to oven airflow rate calculation, the emission is 30000 m3/ h for this type of mat foaming furnace which uses natural gas for heating.
During the production, the exhaust gas of foaming line would be sucked by a diameter 800mm pipe to outside and discharged after filtration. As the temperature is so high during foaming, the exhaust is still in about 120℃ on outlet and with so much oil content. In order to enhance the security and efficiency of collection, a heat exchanger is required to cool down the exhaust gas to below 45℃.
As high temperature and oil content of the furnace exhaust gas, in order to prevent fire from long-term accumulation of oil inner pipes causing spark, our ESP has a temperature sensing type automatic fire protection system which needs to connect with fire fighting water. If inner ESP detects that the temperature is too high(over 165℃ ) or flames, the sensor inner the equipment would send this sign to PLC controller. Then PLC controls to turn on the auto-valve of fire fighting water to lead the water to internal ESP and then put out the fire.
According to the site information, we select our model HED 2.8+IESP2.4 for this project.
