The structure of industrial electrostatic precipitator

The structure of Boton industrial ESP filters are mainly for three parts: the heat exchanger, electrostatic filtration host and control cabinet. As we know, the temperature of exhaust gas from foaming or coating production lines are very high which is around 110℃ to 130℃ on outlet ducting. The high temperature exhaust would affect purification efficiency and increase fire risk, so a heat exchanger is necessary to cooling down exhaust gas before filtration. And then exhaust goes into host for filtration. It utilizes high voltage ionization principle to capture oil & grease particle in exhaust and discharge clean air after purification. Boton pioneers separated host and control cabinet for more convenient inspection and safety. As we know that the main particle in exhaust are oil& mist, there is a risk of fire when lots of oil is collected and accumulated inside the ESP units. How to guarantee the safety? Boton very concern about this issue which showing on the filters design:

  1. Cooling down exhaust to below 40℃
  2. Oil drain on the bottom of every pass of host to drain out oil.
  3. Fire suppression system inside host and automatic starts when detect fire.
  4. Host and control cabinet separation. No involvement of control cabinet when host catches fire.
